biography
I am Jeanette Strole, and I currently live in Seattle, WA. I graduated with a B.A. in photography and graphic design from The Evergreen State College. I am a self-employed publicist, music journalist, graphic designer, and photographer. My past job history has included: medical office jobs, transcription, photography, tutoring, childhood education, as well as all types of artistic endeavors.
Some of my skills are: Keyboarding 90-110 w.p.m., PC & Mac operating systems, Photoshop 4.0-6.0, Freehand 9.0, Medium Format & 35 mm Cameras, light meters, B&W/Color photography and darkroom, Scanning devices, Medical terminology, Journalism, copy editing, multi-line phones, transcription from microcassette, fax machines, copiers.
I also tend to work well in steady-paced environments, am extremely organized, detail oriented, and fastidious. I especially enjoy jobs that provide autonomy, but with ample opportunities for group projects or interaction with others. I am a world traveler, and have a wide variety of interests and hobbies. I speak two languages fluently, and find a lot of fulfilment in being intellectually stimulated.
